Adam Knox started in Issinryu Karate under Master Bud Ewing in 1990. After several years of study, he also took study under Sensei Tom Blair in Judo and Master Reiun Kim in Kendo. Adam continued his studies in Kendo and Judo for over 8 years, all the while maintaining his Isshinryu. Adam earned his Sho-Dan in Isshinryu in 1995. Adam moved to West Chester, Pennsylvania in 2002 and opened his own dojo in his home, taking on a few students. In October of 2015, Sensei Knox achieved his greatest achievement in the martial arts to date, he was recognized by Master Toby Cooling as a Roku-Dan in the Order of Isshinryu.
